Rescue & Rehabilitation

At Ruff Life Rescue of South Carolina, we provide a sanctuary for abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs, offering them a second chance at life. Our dedicated team ensures every dog receives the medical care, emotional support, and love they need to heal. From rescuing dogs facing euthanasia due to treatable conditions to helping them overcome trauma, we transform lives with compassion and commitment. Each dog is thoroughly rehabilitated to prepare them for a brighter future with a loving family or as a support companion.

Companion Animal Adoption Program

Our adoption program connects rescued dogs with disabled veterans and children who can benefit from the unconditional love and support of a loyal companion. We take the time to understand the needs of both the adopter and the dog, ensuring the perfect match. These meaningful partnerships enrich the lives of adopters by fostering emotional healing, increased confidence, and greater connection. Together, we create lifelong bonds that provide comfort and companionship for both humans and animals.

Support Dog Training & Certification

We specialize in training rescued dogs to meet the unique needs of their future adopters, particularly veterans and children. From emotional support tasks to assisting with physical challenges, our training programs ensure that each dog is fully equipped to provide the help their new family member requires.
